Understand the four cost categories
Country programme service fee
The candidate service price shown for a destination and programme. It is a service fee, not a salary figure. The written offer must describe the work covered, what is excluded and whether the published figure is fixed, a starting amount or subject to quotation.
Serbia platform-access package
The existing €100, €500 and €1,000 packages relate to candidate access and application handling on the Serbia platform. A country programme can cover a different scope. Do not add or subtract these amounts yourself: ask the written offer to state whether access is included or separately payable.
Official application fees
Charges for an official visa or permit application are distinct from private service charges. Use the authority’s current instructions for the amount, payment method and evidence required. A provider’s invoice should identify any official fee it says is included.
Other expenses
Translation, certification, insurance, travel, accommodation deposits and day-to-day living costs may arise. Ask which apply to your case, who pays them and when. A benefit should only be treated as included when your written conditions say so.
Ask for one complete cost breakdown
Request a written total in the agreed currency, a list of services and a separate list of exclusions. If another currency or payment asset will be used, confirm the exact payable amount and how any conversion or transaction cost is handled before sending money.
The offer should set out payment timing, any instalments and the event associated with each stage. There is no universal deposit percentage, payment schedule or refund promise across our country programmes; the personalised written terms govern the quoted service.
Keep the accepted offer and payment confirmation together. Confirm the intended recipient through the official account or support channel if payment instructions differ from what you previously received.
Official fees follow official instructions
For Serbia’s online employment Visa D application, the official portal explains that fee payment occurs at the final application step and the request is submitted after payment is recorded. This is a different step from paying a private provider for its services.

Know what happens if the plan changes
Before paying, check the written conditions for withdrawal, employer rejection, a changed role, delays and an official refusal. Ask what completed work means, whether any refund is available in each case and how the request is handled. A new application or a different employer is a separate matter to confirm.
